Why is a Queensland Ambulance Officer a 'Champion of CPTED'?
[2004] The conceptual thrust of CPTED is that proper design and effective use of the physical environment can produce behavioural effects that will reduce not only the incidence of crime but also the fear of crime, thereby improving the quality of life. These behavioural effects can be accomplished by reducing the propensity of the physical environment to support criminal behaviour.
