The Aboriginal Housing Company's Community Safety Plans for the Redevelopment of the Block, Redfern

[2004] Community Safety is a key issue in the Redfern area. Particularly on the 'Block', high levels of crime and drug related crime has stripped this Aboriginal community of identity and culture. It has discouraged interaction and respect between groups and individuals in the community as well as interaction and harmony between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.
