Reducing opportunites for crime
[1999] Most criminological theories have sought to explain why certain people are born with or develop delinquent or criminal motivation, and most preventive policies have attempted to reduce this motivation. This paper focuses instead on reducing criminal opportunities as an instrument of policy.
