[2001] In Germany combating of crime was the sole task of police for a long time. In contrast to other European countries, in Germany the idea of an active opposition of the entire society has established only a little. For urban planners as well as for architects exist a lot of various possibilities to plan preventive. European resolutions are pointed out in examples. This article contains information about development of crime prevention in urban planning and architecture in Germany.
