Bexley Town Security Project

[1998] The report, provides an introduction to the project and the results of an analysis of the data obtained from the surveys of the five town centres. The results support the overall impression, from other sources, that Bexley is an area of relatively low crime when compared with areas of inner London and other town centres. However, the rate of crime against retail and commercial crime is comparable with National Figures. The results underline the role that planning and management of town centres can have on some crime.
