A Case Study of Vandalism
[2004] The study described in this paper identifies the need for an empirical investigation into the effect of visibility and accessibility of public space through dwelling windows and doors. The aim is to provide operational definitions to allow the measurement of these underlying causes independent of the design features, and to find the extent of their effect on social problems.
