2015 CPTED Conference October 19-20 2015: abstract dates extended!
CPTED-2015 will be held in Calgary, Canada, on October 19-20 2015.
Abstract dates extended!
Please submit your abstract to CPTEDemail@example.com as soon as practicable. We have already passed the abstract submission date, but will be extending the date to the end of April 2015.
The theme this year is: CPTED 2015 - Inclusive places. Safe places. Favourite places
The Conference will be held at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Speakers include Paul Ekblom from Central Saint Martins - University of the Arts London, Professor Rachel Armitage from Huddersfield University in the UK, Dr Randy Atlas from Florida Atlantic University, Hin Oey from the Netherlands and many others including Macarena Rau Vargas (Chile), Greg Saville (USA), Tim Pascoe (UK), Fleur Knight (NZ) and Donna Thiessen (Canada). Ray Van Dussen (Canada) and Tinus Kruger (South Africa) have also indicated their intention to submit an abstract. We hope to include a session on CPTED and Homelessness, it will be a truly international line-up of speakers.
Conference presentations will be approximately 30 minutes, highly interactive and fit the theme of the conference. We are seeking submissions that range from academic to front line. If you or someone you know would be a hit for our international delegates then send a submission for our committee to review. Submissions should be in the form of an abstract of approximately 100-150 words.
